Premier League through the model’s eyes
The Premier League is the hardest league in Europe to predict at the top of the market because the gap between the sixth-best and fifteenth-best side is so small. The model leans on two things here: how many goals a side creates at home compared with away, and how its defence holds up against the attacks it has actually faced. Promoted clubs start close to average and move as results come in.

Frequently asked questions
When are Premier League predictions published?
As soon as a fixture is scheduled, up to a week ahead. They refresh every hour and freeze at kick-off.
How often do Premier League home teams win?
Home sides win a little under half of Premier League matches over a typical season, with draws around a quarter. The model learns the current home advantage from recent results rather than assuming a fixed number.
Which Premier League market is most predictable?
Over 1.5 goals and double chance land most often. The match result is the hardest, because the league is so even outside the top few clubs.
